life and Ministry in urban slums
& remote villages of India: An introduction
Greetings in highly exalted name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, we glad to be your well wisher, hope you are keeping well & growing in Grace of God.Who is this: we are a Faith based, Christ centered & Mission oriented Christian org found in 2000, with Millennium vision of great emphasize of the timeless Gospel for the village’ groups of India; and welfare of the down trodden orphan children/ older poor widows. The mission began as a small husband & wife home based ministry and growing in grace and truth.
P.S.Scott Memorial Home: Orphanage home for the neglected poor Children and older poor widows is the part of the FMT Org, now there are 25 children in the home, facilitated in the Church building for time being, till the new building completed, The FMT Org serving urban, rural and hill tribal poor people of India, where we are facing several problems.
What problems: it would be irresponsible to ignore some of the real problems that the ministry faces here. Information! Both good and bad should lead us to pray ever more intelligently and specifically to the one who can help in every situation.
Keeping and teaching: one of the main problems is keeping and nurturing believers; with no regular ministry it is difficult for individuals to be properly taught the basics of the faith and grow in the knowledge of the Lord.
Financial sources: it is no over exaggeration to say that the financial situation of the ministry is very bad & serious. The offerings raise in the churches does not cover the basic expenditure. We do not have any mutual understanding with or affiliations with any denomination or missionary organization since non come forward.
Problems in the society: There is Illiteracy, de-hygiene, unemployment is dreadful, and the HIV/AIDS (top 2nd place in the world) pandemic continues apace. Since we as a God’s servants continually facing with those suffering & disappointment being of jobless, the dejection and the despair of the infected and dying & hunger. Human trafficking and poverty feed India’s sex trade, where women and children forced into prostitution face a life without choices, marginalized by society.
Present projects' and needs:
1. one low cost building for an orphanage home at Kothapalli remote village for a 20 orphan children boys & girls age 01 – 14.
(2). A second hand van for multi-purpose use.
3. The above project budget Grand Total ₤10,000/- approx. (Rs. 6, 50000/- Six lack fifty thousand rupees only.)
4. Sponsorship for children home’ general run, ₤500/- a month.
There are some local Government officials and Christian friends from Faith missions of England visited us and appreciated our good work for needy society of India.
